Wireless Doorbell Camera?

Is the doorbell camera wireless? Specifically, does it run on a battery or must it be hardwired to the house. My house currently does not have a doorbell, so if it must be hardwired, does Telus do the install or do I have to hire an electrician?

The doorbell camera requires a DC connection from a doorbell transformer. You would have to get an electrician to run the low voltage wire, before you can do the install. The camera itself works off Wi-Fi but does not have a battery. 

It’s a simple self install process once you have the above work done.
