Should I open the link or is it a scam? I’m in Ontario, Canada

It's a scam. Look at the URL link and see that it's not TELUS.COM

In general, if the link doesn't end with the official company domain then it's likely a scam. It's has to be exact and not some variation of it.

xyz.telus.com/ is okay

telus.com.xyz/ is not

xyztelus.com/ is not

Also, if it's an unexpected message with a link then it's likely a scam
