Door to door - Legit or not
Two guys came around 3:45 pm today. Asked me about that if I wish to change my internet service from Shaw to Telus. they offered me $90 / month with 3gig speed and netflix and amazon prime free for 2...
what did these guys look like?
Back in october I signed up with 2 guys that came to my door in burnaby, they wanted to get me signed up on a phone plan and they said they could get me $45 bucks a month because other family members have services with telus.
They said they would wave the initial activation fee of $70 and also pay off my contract with virgin mobile.
Guess what? they charged me the activation fee of 70 bucks, and did not pay off my contract on my phone bill, and it gets even better, the phone plan rate that I was quoted wasnt even right. I get charged 57 bucks a month.
Do not sign up with these guys, unless you have phone recordings, video recordings, and signed documents showing you are signing up everything at these rates, then do not trust them to uphold their end of the deal.
Its really pathetic that telus doesnt manage their rogue sales agents, and lets them treat customers like its the wild west of phone plans.
Also if you try to call telus up and tell them that this is what you signed up for and give them details, they will tell you that what ever was discussed and agree'd upon at that moment is inputted into their system is what they stick by, so the agents could literally be telling you one thing and lying to your face and putting in something totally different.
DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.
