Getting: telus optik playback error 444901 player error: vo_osmp_src_cb_drm_fail

Phone is Pixel 6. Have cleared cache and data. Have reinstalled. Still having the issue. Any solution?

It seems this affects Pixel 6, same issue was posted here

Did clearing app cache help in any way?

 

Are both, your Pixel 6 and the app, up to date? 

App and phone are current. Clearing cache, data had no effect.

Hi ! Had the same problem - it is a known Google Play issue affecting Android 13 try this:

Steps for resolution:

1. Access the Google Play Store from your computer

2. Search for the TELUSTV+ Application

3. Install the application on your device via the web.

4. Initiate start up TELUSTV+ Application

 

I deleted current app and downloaded the TELUS TV + app.

Restarted phone and logged in. Still getting the the error.
