Hello,
I bought an Arlo base station to avoid paying the monthly fees to use their cloud storage but in order to view the video that is saved to the base station I need to set up port forwarding. I have a Telus T3200M modem and have followed all the instructions from Arlo to enable port forwarding but it is not working. I was logged into the Telus Modem account page and put in the WAN & LAN numbers that the Arlo app generated - the changes show as applied on the Telus page but they are not working with the Arlo app. I tried contacting Telus tech support but they are not trained in helping with this. I'm hoping someone knows how to do this. I also see that it would be advisable to set up a VPN. I'm hoping that someone can explain how to set up the VPN and port forward.
Thank you!

This may help. I found it important to assign a static IP to the device that you will be port fowarding to:
Opening Ports in a Actiontec T3200M Router (portforward.com)
