How to connect a Asus router with the EWH1350TLU wifi booster

I'm a new user with Telus home internet.

Physical setup like this:

I have an ASUS AX86U router (that I was using) and I connected it to the fiber modem at the basement using cat-6 LAN cable to WAN port of the router. I then run another cat-6 cable from the LAN 1 port to the wifi boster which located at the upper floor. All my devices can access the wifi and internet, except my synology NAS, of course it's running on LAN cable directly connected to my router's LAN port.

The problem is the NAS DSM7 indicated a warning message said that it found 2 routers in the network. It is recommended to set the modem/ router to bridge mode.

I've checked that the Telus wifi booster is in bridge mode already when I login to it using admin password.

I was wondering if I set the ASUS router to bridge mode, it will lose its control functions and doesn't make sense.

Is this connection correct? 

One strange thing that I found. The WAN connection IP is : 192.168.1.??   , is that really normal? I think it shouldn't display as a private network IP.

Do I miss to set anything?

If the WAN IP for the Asus is 192.168.1.xx, that means that the Telus gateway/router was NOT bridged so it's still acting as a router. So yes, there are two routers currently. The Boost is NOT a router. It's merely a Wifi access point.

If you open 192.168.1.254 in a browser, it should take you to the Telus router's login. From there you'll need to look for options to bridge LAN1 on it.

I'm sorry. But where can I get the user name and password from?

It seems it's not the admin password printed on the booster
