Recording ends before the program ends and automatically goes to the next recording. When are changes coming to extend the length of the recording.

Recordings on “Home Network” stop 5 minutes before the ending which makes the recording feature useless. Can the metadata for Home network be changed to sync recording times with show times?

Hi kentwendy - is this happening on all your recordings?
- kentwendyNeighbourThe early start happens with all recordings but we get the end of the show except for those on Home Network.

Extending recording length is definitely on our team's roadmap, and they're actively working on it for a future release!

This sucks. I am missing all sorts of sports endings. What happened to the ability to extend recordings. The old system had this feature. Also setting up recordings sometimes they don’t record . Thinking of contacting Shaw and switching

Recordings of live sports programs are automatically extended by 60 minutes (90 minutes for tennis matches), so we will need to research if this failed for the particular games you recorded. Sparky1960 - would you please let us know which sports events (time and channel) were cut off for you so we can investigate?
