SCAM security call
Every three weeks I receive an automated call from 1-855-509-5413 claiming to be Telus Smart Security telling me that I am the contact number for my parents' address and that there is a security issu...
Today, I got 2 identical calls, no personal information provided on the message, both say call back to 855-844-8435. I have never purchased Telus Home Security, but previously owners of home number did. Home # under my name was ported over to Eastlink when I took it over and has never been with Telus. You would have the home number on file because we purchased High Speed service at our summer place last fall. My cell contract with Telus is 1 yr old. These numbers are never provided together to my contacts, as home number is for husband, as he is not tech savvy. It certainly does appear that there is a breach or sharing of information. Has the company been hacked, and personal information has been shared??
