How can I set my alarm to arming away when I lock the door from just the PAD? We've had Vivint previously and we had that option and with the Telus system it arms away even with locking the door from...

Hi, I can't find these options on my panel. Can you confirm these steps are still relevant? Or reach out with how I can do this with my system? I'm interested in doing the same thing OP was asking - arming the system from the door lock keypad

I think it's the IQPanel. It looks like the one in this quick start guide: https://assets.ctfassets.net/9mt4r6ro1ay9/6LLL6u5aLBDOVxgQfAVxm0/578621d96e61fe364f4058a109bf93a1/QuickStartGuidePanelInstall-EN.pdf

weichitruong Thanks for that. On the IQ Panel (Gen 4), you cannot set it to automatically arm in "away" mode by locking the door from the panel. It's not configurable like that. Instead, you'll need to use a two step process.
First, manually select "Arm Away" on the panel by tapping the lock icon and choosing the "Arm Away" option. Then, once the exit delay timer starts, leave through a door and close it behind you. The system will fully arm in "Away" mode after the exit delay expires.
The system requires you to consciously choose "Arm Away" and then physically leave during the exit delay period.- weichitruong21 days agoNeighbour
Can you tell me which panel supports this functionality? I would consider upgrading (or downgrading) my panel to enable this functionality.
