Arm House from Door Pad
How can I set my alarm to arming away when I lock the door from just the PAD? We've had Vivint previously and we had that option and with the Telus system it arms away even with locking the door from...
Our Vivint system was just updated yesterday and find ourselves in the same situation. As this was originally posted over 2 years ago, is there now a fix for this?

The only solution I found was this: You can't set the TELUS alarm to "Arm Away" automatically when you lock the door from the inside, as this is a security feature to prevent accidental arming. Instead, you need to manually select "Arm Away" on the control panel or through the app before leaving and exiting through a door during the exit delay. You cannot create a rule to arm the system just by locking the door from the inside.
What I'd like to have automated is when the door is locked from the outside (via the keypad) any other door locks are placed into the locked position and then the system is armed away. That is the function that my family (and I think other former Vivint customers) are looking for.
I usually go outside snd arm away and then ask app to lock front door. Is this correct procedure?
