Problem with Linking the Telus Rewards Account with the WestJet Rewards Account

I followed the 6-step procedure, and at the end, your software did not send the verification code to my mobile number.

Steps:

1. On MY TELUS, I select the Rewards Profile, which directs me to my rewards page.

 2. On my rewards page, there is info about the benefits of linking the Telus Reward with WestJet Rewards. The info provides the link to activate this option. 

3. The link (from step 2) is directing you to another link: Link to your WestJet Account

4. Click the Link from step 3, and this activates the Privacy information, which you have to read and agree to.

5. After agreeing to the privacy policy, you click on Link Account, which opens another page directing you to verify your Telus account by verification code sent to your cell phone. 

6. You click on Text My Number  but the verification code never arrives. 

I tried this several times with no success. Does anybody have a solution for this problem?

    The error you’re seeing is occurring on WestJet’s side. Our team is actively working with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

      I had another issue that keeps saying, “Register your phone number. We do not have a phone number associated with your account. Please call 1 888 811 2323 to register a phone number with your My TELUS account.” However, I already have a phone number associated with my account. I called the number provided and was told that my phone number is indeed linked to my account. The issue still hasn’t been resolved.

        I talked to Telus today. They are still working on the problem. They hope that all be resolved by November 9.

  • Same error ("We regret to inform you that your westjet rewards account linking was unsuccessful. Please try again."), and Telus reps even "reset" or updated my Telus profile in some way. Happy to provide account details to help with the investigation.
