Fine Print Scam
Why doesn't Telus notify me via email when my 2 year contract is about expire so I don't get a $100.00 surprise increase.?

Hi rd1949 - Your service agreement is listed on your My TELUS account and can be looked at at anytime.
We also list the end date of discounts every month on the bill from their start. To easily keep track of your bill and service agreements we also have the My TELUS app for your convenience. Email is the least reliable method of communication as an error can prevent the email from going out. The best way to keep track is to check your My TELUS as that will be up-to-date throughout your tenure with us

7 months agoLike I said, we provide the tools to access the information but we can't force people to use them.
All of your previous bills are conveniently on My TELUS. The need for paper bill is there for those with difficulties and we do accommodate special circumstances but for convenience they are all there. If you take a look at utilities, banks, etc, all statements are primarily done online as paper can be lost in the mail, destroyed, tampered, stolen, etc.
The bills can be printed as well if the user wishes to look at the paper bill. With the recent labor disruptions that have happened in the last 6 months I'm sure we can agree that paper bills are not a reliable way to receive information. So we send emails with all the links needed to get your bill and we have an app that helps achieve that goal faster.

"All of your previous bills are conveniently on My TELUS". This is what I got since 6:am this morning. How long is shortly?.
"Our login system is currently down for maintenance. Please try again shortly. "
OK Telus wins. I think we should forget about all this and get on with our miserable lives
