    I believe neither of your proposed options will work, as each Google Nest device will try to get its own IP address, and you can have a maximum of two assigned IP addresses. I would dig further as to why the second Nest won’t play nice with the first as a mesh network.

Thank you!  Found out upon digging some more that I have to chain the Google Nest Devices by wiring them directly to the LAN ports.  

 

So...

 

ONT -> T3200 -> Port 1 Bridged / Or regular -> Google Nest 1 ---> Google Nest 2.  

 

This restricts me to have to put the Google Nest 1 close to the cabinet.
