3 months agoSo you are still having this problem with the app update released on Thursday? (app version 2.27.0 build 1039) And so that I understand what you're saying, the focus state (what's highlighted) of the guide moves without touching the remote at all?

If there is an update I will check it out then. Yes the focus state would move on it's own, between channels and time without any interaction with the remote. Did the update address this issue? The only other issue I usually have with the app is that playback always gives an error, mainly with Recordings or Restarting a show. I have made a separate post about that though here.

The fix in this particular update was to address jumpiness between timeslots in the guide when actively scrolling using the remote. If the guide is moving on its own with absolutely no remote interactions, this is a different problem than what was described. You may need to uninstall and reinstall the application and make sure no one in the household is using their iOS device as a remote.
There is a known issue with restart programs and on now recordings on certain channels that is being investigated with a vendor TELUS works with.
