Optik TV wireless range.
What is the wireless range of the Optik TV signal (VIP5662W)? I have a wireless STB in our main bedroom (VIP5602WT) that only has 1 or 2 bars of signal and keeps freezing…it is about 50 ft away from the router (Arcadyan). Will a Telus wi-fi booster improve the signal to that STB in the bedroom? Thank you.

Great question! In short, yes a TELUS Wi-Fi Boost unit will absolutely help, but there is a specific way it'd need to be configured for Optik TV traffic.
While a standard wireless router can generally broadcast a signal up to 100 ft. or more, real world residential environments obviously change the math. Going through interior walls, drywall, plumbing, mirrors, you name it. Placement is everything, you'd want to place the Boost roughly halfway between your router and your bedroom STB. It can also be setup directly through the TELUS Connect app as well.
