I don't know if this will help you or not, but I had a similar problem after a Sequoia update on my Mac Studio. I have a Telus router, and both my Mac Studio and my Epson printer are connected to it via ethernet cables. The Mac would no longer recognize the printer after the update, and it turned out that Sequoia had modified the Mac network Firewall, and the Mac Firewall was blocking the printer. I tried tweaking various Network settings, but that didn't help so I turned off the Mac Firewall, and now the printer works fine (I did enter the printer IP address in the Add Printer dialog box...you can get the printer IP address from your router if you need to). I am not sure what the Mac Firewall actually does since it is the Telus router that is directly connected to the internet, not my Mac Studio. So turning off the Firewall might be worth trying if you haven't already tried that (System Settings, Network, make Firewall inactive).

Thanks for the suggestion. Would that turn off the firewall just for printing or for everything?
