I feel like I've been scammed. By Telus.
- 2 months ago I saw a good deal advertised by Telus for faster internet
- I called and asked if the cancellation fees could be waived so I could start with the faster internet
- I was told, no, but if I cancelled my account, and my wife started a new account, all the cancellation fees would be waived, so I did. It seemed a bit sketchy, but I was assured it was all on the up and up
- Not only is our 'faster internet' still not nearly up to speed...
- I was billed for a month after we cancelled, and when I called, I was told because I had cancelled after the new billing period began... that was just how it is
- After complaining about that, I was told, the next bill would credit me for the portion of the billing period after cancellation
- I just received my latest bill, and it's now double the last bill
