Transferring number from Rogers to Telus phone won't connect to telus

I ordered a new iphone 13 and Telus shipped it received it Friday confirmed transferring the number from Rogers to Telus yesterday morning put new sim card in that came with phone shut it down restarted multiple times turned airplane mode on and off won't connect to Telus network wifi works. As well why does Telus charge you from the day you call in not the day you start using the service and the rate is not what was told to me on the phone any help is appreciated

  • As polecat mentioned, there may have been external factors at play here (the outage). It would be best to call Telus and ensure the port went through successfully. 

  • Labelguy1506  With the major rogers nation wide system failure yesterday i would think it will take time for things to settle down. Phone telus we can't do anything here.
