How long does it take for a phone to ship if it’s out of stock?

That will depend on the supplier and make/model. Apple recently said 4-5 weeks for the iPhone 14 Pro.

There are two warehouses from which they're sent, so it'd most likely ship from the closest one (assuming the specific SIM is in stock at the time).
