Illegal cell phone jammers
Illegal cell phone jammers used at Home Depot / Canadian Tire etc., in Timmins, ON. I'm convinced these stores are using these illegal devices in Canada. No way you can't get decent reception being literally less than a few kilometres from a cellular towers.
The same stores in Sudbury, ON. have no reception issues, same distance between the cellular towers.
The construction of the buildings (metal and concrete) impede radio waves. It has nothing to do with "jammers". Our local costco there is a tower two blocks away as well as home depot. Signal is no existent for the most part once in the store.

I once had similar weird signal drops, and it turned out a nearby business was using something they shouldn't. Report it to your provider—they can scan network interference sources.

I'm still convinced some are using some sort of illegal cell phone jammer. I've had a prior business owner admit to it. Only the military personal are allowed to use such devices, any other organization like church etc., it's illegal.

It's highly likely that building materials or terrain are interfering with the signals in certain locations. Large structures, metal frameworks, or dense materials often weaken cellular signals indoors, even if you’re near a tower. Additionally, other factors like network congestion or environmental interference could contribute to the issue.

**The same stores in Sudbury, ON. have low reception but no real issues at all, same distance between the cellular towers. While the Timmins, ON. locations have ZERO reception and inference, I'm certain.**

The Timmins, ON. locations are problematic but not in Sudbury, ON. I've even had a business owner admit to using the devices in their stores since he didn't want employees on their devices while at work. (I can't confirm if he was telling the truth)

Yet, the Home Depot / Canadian Tire in Sudbury, ON has a lower signal but the devices still work fine. It's the same building material. The towers are both the same distance between each building.
