How does rooting affect your contract?
I'm doing research on my first phone carrier, if anyone knows if rooting a Google pixel 2 xl will affect my contract, please let me know...
You can do whatever you want with your phone as long as you keep paying for it. I'm surprised it's still on contract since it's a 3 year old phone. Don't expect any support from TELUS or Google if you have problems after you root the phone however.
