Panel wiring
The wiring to the power adapter for our home security panel came undone during a reno. The technician who installed the system used the old security system wiring to hardwire the TELUS panel. There are 2 pins (one + and one -) and 4 wires: red, black, yellow, green. We have door/window and motion sensors, glass break sensor, smart thermostat and outdoor cameras. Which wire colours connect to which pin?

As i know the red wire represents the positive (+) connection, while the black wire represents the negative (-) connection. However, to ensure accuracy, it's always best to consult the installation manual or contact the manufacturer of your security panel or TELUS for specific wiring instructions.

Can you see which wires are connected to the power supply? Normally red and black would be used for low voltage power supply. Black is ground (-) and red is positive.
