Old ADT alarm system/switch to fibreoptic
Switching internet (Bell) from old copper phone lines to fibre. Old ADT (now Telus) home alarm requires phone line. How do I go about getting this switched to be compatible? Also, will battery back up of alarm still work (I would have modem/router on battery backup)? Alarm system was installed in 2001.

This would most likely require a line test to make sure the security system itself would still successfully send a signal through the new provider's line. If it works, then you'd be good to go. If not, then a technician would need to be dispatched to your home to get everything rolling. Our SmartHome team would be able to guide you through the process for sure.
