Potential phone sca.
I received a call today from a Kelowna phone number (250-470-1185). They were trying to sell me on a phone plan for $55/mth, that included the price of an iPhone 16, and offered unlimited 5g data in cnd, usa,mx and 1000 international minutes. When I said I didn't need a new phone he offered the plan to me for $40/mth. He couldn't tell me anything about myself or my account. Said that he was just from the promotion company and didn't have any information on me. While that might sound plausible, I've just received too many scam calls lately. The email address he sent the promotion I formation from was: [email protected]
Is this a scam?

100% scam. Not a Telus phone number. Not a Telus email address. Phone number is listed for a few different Kelowna businesses including a duct cleaning business, an appliance business, and several others.
Happy I hung up on him after getting the email
