US Number

Can a US number that is the same as a Canadian number be removed by Telus
Could it be used to hijack a Telus account
  • There is not any way that a US Number is "the same" as a Canadian number, as it has been pointed out.

What do you mean by removed? How does any carrier remove a phone number?

    Going to need more clarification.

Are you referring to a phone number? Telus doesn't deal with US phone numbers. There won't be a US number that is the same as a Canadian phone number because the area codes are all different.

The US number is identical . Apparently such a number could be setup for someone that travels but might also be setup by a hacker

I've never heard of Telus nor any other provider offering anything like that.

The area code for a phone number is specific to a specific province in Canada. No provider can offer a duplicate number to one that is already in use from any provider. Are you perhaps referring to someone spoofing or faking a phone number on call display when the call out?

Please explain, in detail, what you're inquiring about.
