ASUS RT-AX86U lowering speeds
Hi all,
I recently upgraded to telus gigabite internet, but I'm not able to get the right speeds while using my router. My Speedtest average around 300-400 down and up, but when plugged directly into the Telus modem I'm getting 900+. I would very much like to continue using my router for a multitude of reasons so just simply taking it away is out of the question unless there is absolutely no other way. Please let me know if any more info is needed and thank you in advance!
My current setup:
ASUS RT-AX86U (Cat8 Ethernet Cable directly into my PC)
Telus Modem (A single cable going from ASUS WAN to Telus LAN)
- Try connecting your router to the TELUS router in bridge mode.

Try either updating the firmware or resetting the router to factory defaults.
