Do I need to turn on data “roaming “ to use the 30 day easy roaming pass?

I have Europe 30 day easy roam plan…just arrived but the data hasn’t worked in either Germany or Bosnia
Do I have to toggle on “data roaming”?
I can’t connect to internet
I Worry about data roaming charges
I received a text messages that if it’s turned on then I will be charged extra

Hi Zavidovici - as FuzzyLogic pointed out, you need to turn on "Data Roaming" in order for your phone to connect to data while Roaming.
One tip I can give you as well is that in your phone's Cellular settings you should be able to change carriers that are available abroad to connect to the one with the best reception.
If you have the Europe 30-day pass, it provides you with the same features as your plan at home so you can use it just like when you're in Canada.

You will need to turn on roaming to connect to Telus affiliates in Europe. I believe that the pass uses your existing data plan so depending on what that is you may incur additional charges should you exceed that.
- Thanks for feedback, but it’s not finishing. I’d rather hear back from Telus or anyone else was at this experience and not being charged to guide me accordingly.Thanks anyway
Same thing happened to me on my trip a couple weeks ago to france austria and hungary could not get internet access which was important in locations where wireless wasn't available ( like train stations!)
Next time I'm going to go back to the "sail" data package which worked last year. Very frustrated with the europe travel roam package. Can't afford to experiment with the Telus Europe roaming thing.
The settings they suggest do not help us get internet access. Let us know if you get an answer from Telus.
