2gbps not working

Good morning

 

Im paying to have 2gbps on my phone and is not working at all, im using a iphone 15 pro and i check the covarege map and im in the 5g+ zone so i dont understand why im not getting the speed, im getting 200 megabites and sometime go up to 400 so slow!!

  • The bands deployed and how many users are connected to those towers can greatly affect reaching peak speeds on any cellular network.  Just because your plan allows up to 2 Gbps down, doesn't guarantee that you will ever get those speeds.  It just puts tour data usage in a higher priority category.  Especially in larger cities where there are a lot of customers concentrated in a small area.

    On the coverage map page, there's a green 'Report an issue' button on the right hand side that you can fill out. This sends a report directly to our network team to investigate. Alternatively, you can look into resetting your Network Settings or visiting the nearest TELUS store so our team can investigate as well!
