I received a winback call from Koodo on Dec 2, 2025. It is from an agent called Issac. He offered me a great deal. However, I thought it was a fraud at first, so I took time to verify. When he called me back, I was calling Koodo service and didn't answer his call. Later, I called back, but another agent picked up my call. I asked for Issac, but that agent told me that all the agents were the same and the offer was limited, so I would better make my decision immediately. I believed and made my order. Later, Issac called back, and I realized that this should be his credit. I wish his supervisor could see my list. I testify that he is a good agent, and please give him more opportunities.90Views0likes1CommentWinback promotion call
Hi, I got a call from 833-896-0450 regarding some winback offer from Koodo which seems to good to be true especially when I am not an existing Telus customer. They also sent a verification text message from '35353' and even email from '[email protected]' Not sure whether this is legit or some scam. Can anyone please confirm on this. Thanks.154Views0likes2CommentsQuestion No One Seems To Have A Definitive Answer To...
I received an offer that has my interest to bring my 6 lines back to Telus. However, I have talked to half a dozen people from Telus in the past few days, most of which are in the Executive Office, that can't seem to answer my question. In January of 2023, I was roaming in the US with my main line which was using a OnePlus 8T. It wirked on Telus for 3+ years on VoLTE before it was deprovisioned for no reason. I troubleshooted everything I could with the device, including rolling back and reinstalling the device factory image. Telus just kept saying, the device was no longer compatible. I still had 2 and a half months out of the country and needed my phone to work. I bought an s23 Ultra. When I received that, I verified it was SIM unlocked and put my Telus SIM in it. Device would not roam and was not being provisiomed for VoLTE. I even went as far as to flash the W firmware (Canadian device firmware to it) and it still eould not provision. It wasn't until I got in contact with a Senior Network Engineer, Ian, that I was told my s23 Ultra would never be provisioned because I did not buy it from Telus. Literally, the only bluntly honest person I have talked to in the entire company. When I got back to Canada, I took all of my lines to Rogers! I still use my s23 Ultra along with a Pixel 9 Pro XL and a Motorola RAZR Ultra 2025, purchased in the US, which also work perfectly on Rogers, Bell, and Videotron/Freedom. I went to two different Telus store locations with all 3 devices to see if they had a text SIM I could try in my devices. I was told, they did not by both locations. The last person I spoke to was from south Asia and apparently worked in escalations, couldn't even understand the issue to attempt to provide any sort of constructive and definitive answer. All I want to know before accepting the offer to bring my lines back to Telus is... Will my s23 Ultra (918U), Pixel 9 Pro XL (GGX8B), and my Motorola RAZR Ultra 2025 (XT2551-1) all be fully provisioned for Telus VoLTE if I bring my 6 lines back to Telus?248Views0likes8CommentsWinback Offer Mismatch
I recently signed up for the Telus Mobility winback offer. I received both the confirmation email and the service agreement. On the phone, the agent clearly stated multiple times that I was getting the 200GB plan for $55 (or $45 after pre-authorized payments). However, the service agreement I received shows 120GB for $55 instead. I have just signed up for this plan, and the service is not yet active. I’m still waiting for my physical SIM card to be shipped, but I have already received the service agreement, order confirmation, and set up my online account. I also need an update on the status and tracking for the SIM card shipment. This is a frustrating experience because what was agreed to over the phone is not what is documented in my service agreement. Please correct this to reflect the 200GB plan I was promised and provide the SIM card shipment update. Thank you for resolving this promptly.443Views0likes1Comment
