I spent 2 hours on the phone with tech support who clearly didn't know anything other than the script. I have not had 1.5gpb upload since my install earlier in the week nor was bridge mode working. He had me factory reset the modem and then after 45 mins, had needed to have second level support assist just to get it back online. Upload speeds still capped at 800gps and now my download speeds are capping around 800gpbs. It was at 1.5gb before the reset. All he did was make it worse and never fixed the bridge mode. Basicly he gave up after 2 hours on the phone (sounding like he hated being there the entire time) and hung up because "the office was closing". The installation tech was also afwul because he said we couldn't even use bridge mode and only tested that the wifi was working but never confirmed the speeds... I am running off the 10GB port on my NAH.213Views0likes3CommentsUnscrupulous Security Tech Charges
I did not want to renew my Home Security account as I had not used it in sometime. The sensors were also broken. TELUS sent over a repair person to exchange the sensors. He arrived and replaced all the broken ones. He said that there will be a charge but to call into customer service and they will reverse it. Today I received a charge of $400. No one is reversing it and saying I approved it. This tech was named LUCKY and left his TELUS card and phone number. I need this reversed or will have to cancel all my TELUS services as it has not been 30 days since the new contract.203Views0likes1CommentTechnician Issue
Had a technician visit 2 weeks ago for home services and he sold me on a great sounding mobility plan, when i switched from Bell EPP. I asked explicitly if I could use my Apple Watch with this contract and if this counts towards a discount for my home services. Turns out now there is no way of using the plan with my Apple Watch, it doesn’t count towards a discount on the home service, only mentioned the $60 connection fee after already transferring the number, a rep on the phone told me that I could have signed up for an unlimited plan for less, in the end I’m basically now paying more for less and I’m screwed on the Apple Watch connection. However phone reps are not letting me out of the contract or let me change it. Good reminder to never let a rep or tech let you sell something you haven’t read the fine print on … 1 month in and already can’t wait to switch away from Telus. Anonymous, if you let techs sell stuff please make sure they actually know what their selling …2.7KViews0likes1CommentMoving To A New Apartment, What Do I Need To Do?
