Loyalty Offer = Double my current plan?
I've had my current phone since 2018. It works great but it's starting to have issues charging, but nothing having a charging bank in my bag won't help with. Telus is offering me "loyalty rewards" options to upgrade my phone (I have been with Telus for 15+ years). I found a phone I liked, but the lowest plan for any new phone is double what my current plan is with less services? I only started this plan 2 years ago when they offered it to me. How the heck do they call doubling your plan in two years a "reward for loyalty"? Also trying access any customer service is near impossible - support won't even load in the app?
Current plan changed by Telus unilaterally
Booked move order Internet with agent, then got Email from Telus for oncoming appointment but has PDF attachment noticed my existing plan changed. During the chat, the agent even did NOT mention my plan, I did NOT request any change of my existing, how Telus changed existing plan just because of moving? It doubles monthly price than my existing plan but same service, my existing has not expire yet. Tried call or chat to follow up, waiting time was so long. Hope can get quick answer here, thanks.
