I use only WiFi. The speed is between 50 and 60, usually low 50s. I had 2+ hours of discussions with your colleagues on Thursday, they ran different tests, made me download one of telus's apps, and connected to this app. In the end, they told me "We don't see problems on our end, buy WiFi+"Re: Wi-Fi + service and so called dead zones.
Thank you for the advice. The router is on the top of the closet, nothing obstructs it. Rebooting etc was done by myself and tech support. Nothing. Frankly, I don't think that this is my problem to solve. I think this is a Telus problem to solve. If they don't want to help me, then there are alternatives.Wi-Fi + service and so called dead zones.
I've been with Telus for 7 years. Recently, my internet connection became real slow (50-60 mbps) and I'm paying for 150. So I called Telus and after 2.5 hours I was told to buy a Wi Fi + service because there are dead zones in my condo which didn't exist six months ago. I really don't like coercion so in the near future I will part ways with this company. I post it so other TELUS customers can be aware of this ... tactic.
