Do I need the Telus Network Access Hub
Hello All, Can anyone tell me if i need to use the Telus Network access Hub (NAH), or can I use my own router? Right now my setup is Nokia ONT - Telus NAH - Telus Wifi Router. But I would like to set it up as Nokia ONT - 2.5Gig switch - Third Party Router. Does anyone know if this is possible, or do i need to use the Telus NAH? I am running a speed test from my laptop and my cell phone using speedtest.net. After the network access hub is rebooted and the third party router is rebooted, it has high speed, then the very next test within a min. is the low speed, and every test after is low speed. Hey everyone, I have been struggling with this. I have the Telus fiber that comes into a nokia ont xs-250x-a modem. From there it goes into a Telus Network access hub. Then to my third part tp-link wireless router. The speed is fine for 10 minutes then it drops from 230mbs to 15mbs. I have tried factory resetting all three devices, using bridge mode, plugging the router right into the modem nothing seems to work. What is weird is that I don’t seem to have any issues using the Telus wifi6 router. But I have tried 3 different third party routers and none of them work. Could Telus be downgrading it somehow? Hello Everyone, Since Telus wants to charge me $175 for a tech to come fix the issue i have been having off and on for months, i figured i would try here. Basically my network had been setup from my fiber line into my Nokia ONT to the Telus Network Access Box to the Telus wireless router. Ever since they replaced my hardware, my wireless has been intermittent. My question is; is it possible to go from the Nokia ONT to my own router, or from the fiber line right into the Telus Network access box. I am trying to figure out what they did that is causing the intermittent connection to my devices. Any help would be greatly apricated.1.2KViews0likes1Comment
