It enabled us to keep our email addresses. I now regret not biting the bullet and creating a new email address and a real Gmail account. I recently transferred over many WLM email folders to my Google powered Telus Email account using a migration tool. I don’t like that the folders are stored in All Mail and sent items (Telus thing). I want to move the folders again to a normal Gmail account. Note: No google takeout available on the telus account. I created an Outlook email Account with the idea of using Outlook as the transfer tool, the Storage Folder labels (names) showed up in Outlook but no contents? The folders were empty. I recently migrated (using migration tool) many Windows Live Mails 2012 storage folders to my Google powered Telus email/Gmail. When the storage folders came over there was a copy in All Mail but also a copy in Sent Items. Why is there a copy in “Sent Items”? If I delete a folder from “sent items” it’s gone. I did the same transfer to a normal Gmail Account, no copy of folders in “Sent Items”. Is there a workaround, a copy in “Sent Items” is unacceptable. If I would have known keeping a telus.net email account (also no Google takeout) was only a shell of a Gmail Account I would have changed email addresses. Telus email account through Gmail
Hello I have a Telus powered Gmail Account. My old Telus Email Account was switched over to a Telus powered Gmail Account. I want to backup all my Gmail Account email folders to my backup Hard Drive. When I navigate to Google Takeout to accomplish this task, it states Admin will not allow use of Google Takeout. I am assuming the Admin is Telus, can I get around this? I think its a joke Telus switched our Emails Accounts over to Gmail Accounts but block many of the Gmail Account features. WTF! Garbage service! Thx1.2KViews0likes3Comments- 2.8KViews0likes0Comments

I was just told by a Telus Rep who contacted the back office team that I could use my Telus $50 rewards card against my Telus bill. She said log in click billing and enter my card details.
