This is not a helpful solution. I already did all the things you suggested. I mentioned that in the original post. If this is a known issue, is there a software update in the works? Hello. I have had Optik TV for over 2 years, with Telus Pure fibre 1gig internet. I use the newer style smaller cloud based TV box, connected via wifi. In the first 2 years I had optik TV I had Disney+ and it worked fine without issue. During that time, we cancelled it to cut down on costs. I renewed for another 2 years with Telus, and part of our new plan covers the cost of Disney+. Since I have restarted my Disney+ subscription, I find it lags durning playback. It’s very jittery. I also use Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Crave. None of the other apps have an issue. Live TV also seems to be fine. It’s just Disney+ that has this issue. I tried to uninstall and re-install the app, but the Telus Optik box won’t allow it to be deleted completely. It allows me to uninstall updates, which I did, and then re-installed them, and still had the same issue. I’ve lowered the playback quality settings on the app, and still it jitters. I was trying to watch a movie today and it was almost unwatchable. Has anyone else had this problem specifically with Disney+ on the Telus box. Hello, just recently made the switch from Spotify to Apple Music for my main music streaming service. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed the Apple Music app is not available for download to the Telus box on the Google play store. My Telus box is (or was) my main source for playing music through Spotify at home as it’s connected to my home theatre system. Is it possible or are there plans to make the Apple Music app available for download to the TELUS Tv box? It seems that I have 5.1 sound for many live tv shows, as well as Apple TV and Disney+, however it seems that when it comes to Netflix and Prime TV, all I get is 2ch stereo. I don’t see anywhere where there’s an option to change the sound setting for Netflix or Prime. I’ve seen a lot of older posts here regarding this. Hello, still getting to know my Optik TV+. I set up a series record for my 2 year old son, but for every single episode of the series that is recorded, it starts about 3-5 minutes into the episode. Is there a way to adjust the start time of series recordings? On my Shaw Blue Curve Box it was a very easy process to edit start or end times of any scheduled recordings. I can’t seem to find an option for that with Optik+. Maybe I’m just not familiar with the system yet. Any help would be greatly appreciatedSolved5.9KViews0likes7Comments
