I am not sure about the semi transparent part but I think it’s a super think cable they run along the corners of the walls. Hi all, We just started our build and am doing some pre-planning. We have an area in the basement designated for computer/network equipment and this is where I would want the fibre from the street to terminate and the rest of the telus equipment to go. Will telus run the fibre from the street to this location? I assume they would as this is their service cable from the street that terminates into their hardware directly, or would something else need to happen that I have not accounted for. For context I would assume this would happen prior to drywall going up and if not I would run a conduit to pull their cable through to this location. Does any one know if there is some sort of configuration on the telus supplied router you need to do to resolve ICMP packets from being filtered out? Previously I had issues with IPV6 dropping after 30 minutes but that was resolved after switching to the new Telus router but one thing that has always been a issue is that the ICMP packets (for this test at least) seem to be getting filtered out. I think I read that someone had resolved this with some configuration change but they never elaborated. Anyone know what to do about resolving this?Solved4.2KViews0likes1Comment
