Re: Not able to manage channels? Is this an open issue or deliberate?
TELUS_Support Tried sending a message with the link to this thread. Got an error saying invalid HTML was in the message. Removed the link and I was told I have reached my limit on private messages. What else can I do here?4.5KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Not able to manage channels? Is this an open issue or deliberate?
So here is what I have learned from this post. If you are an existing OptikTV customer, the Manage menu item in the "My Telus" website or mobile app will not work. However, if you go to: https://order.fibre.telus.com/ you can make changes there. But there still seems to problems as when I go there, Telus lists 3 different addresses for me, only one that is correct. And I saw error messages trying to change the current selection of channels TELUS_Support4.7KViews0likes3CommentsRe: Not able to manage channels? Is this an open issue or deliberate?
TELUS_Support I am the person who originally posted (see the top of the thread). While I appreciate others jumping in here my original question remains. I am trying to change my existing channels and the "Telus/Optik TV/Manage shows as not available (try later)" Same happens with the mobile app. It has been this way for several days Can I get some support on resolving this?4.7KViews0likes0CommentsNot able to manage channels? Is this an open issue or deliberate?
I am not able to access the feature in Telus/Optik TV/Manage to change some of the channels that I access. Not sure if this is just a temporary outage (although it has been that way for more than 24 hours) or a deliberate effort for Telus to have me do more upgrades. Can anyone confirm that they can access this feature?Solved5.1KViews0likes15CommentsRe: Unable to login to new TELUS TV+ app on iOS and iPadOS
If this helps, I am confirming that the accepted solution helped me as well. Thanks for everyone on this post for their contributions. I have 2 Apple TVs and an iPad and on Sunday March 5 I could not log in to the TelusTV app on my Apple TV. I logged out of all instances of TelusTV and as instructed logged out of the TV Provider in Apple Settings. I also noticed that I had multiple Telus entries on my laptop in the Apple Keychain app. I had used those previously to log into my Telus account as well as access PikTV in the browser in the past. This included an old password in the Apple Keychain app. I removed those entries as well. Then, as instructed in the Accepted Solution above, I deleted and then reinstalled the TelusTV app. I did not use the Apple IOS TV credential option and manually entered my username and password. It worked and I can now view TelusTV on both Apple TVs and my iPad as well. Hope this helps9.2KViews0likes0CommentsRe: Pik TV, cannot select program on AppleTV
I have seen this as well. I have had the Pik TV service and Apple TV app as well as the iPad app for about 3 years now. Things were rough in the first year, got better in the second but the Apple TV app is definitely in bad shape right now. The iPad App is much better. The only workaround I have for the Apple TV app is to select the channel you want on the home screen instead of going into the Guide where the cursor/navigation is definitely broken. This is not very helpful but I wanted to add my experience to this thread. Hopefully someone from Telus weighs in here.6KViews3likes0CommentsTelus My-Wifi showing the wrong information
I have had 5 Telus Wi-Fi Boost devices in my home for about 2 years. While the WiFi does work well, recently I see in the My-Wifi app that the limit of 5 boost devices has been reached (previously there was no set limit) But it now does not recognize the devices (it shows a count of zero devices) and also does not permit me to add any devices. I have already done a fair amount of work to set up the environment. Where possible, I have directly connected the boost devices to the physical network cables in my house. I also removed the WiFi router as per the Telus documentation. Can anyone from Telus comment on any changes that may have taken place in the last few months with respect to how the Boost devices work in this area? My only solution right now is to remove all of the devices and re-install the Boost Devices.Solved3.5KViews0likes1CommentRe: Is there an update map showing Telus Fibre coverage in Calgary?
Thanks. I am looking in a few areas in Calgary and I want to stick with Telus Fibre if possible. If anyone wants to help build a list of areas in Calgary, feel free to add to this post. The ones I know of for sure: Sherwood Symons Valley Nolan Hill Hamptons15KViews0likes1CommentIs there an update map showing Telus Fibre coverage in Calgary?
I know that this is constantly changing and that you can enter your postal code on the Telus site to check what is available but I was curious if there was a list of neighbourhoods/areas in Calgary where Fibre Optic is currently available?Solved15KViews0likes3Comments
