STB remote
How do I get our slimline 2 remotes to only control 1 STB each?
When I'm in the living room the remote for our 5662 PVR also controls the 5602 STB in our bedroom if the bedroom door is open. I want to set each remote to a specific box, not work on both.
Yes I know how to set it up for the TV but that isn't the problem I'm asking about.
The solution to my question is "there is no solution" other than aiming the remote off to the side I guess.

Hello. The remotes are unfortunately not able to be programmed to specific boxes, but will work for all. The remotes have to be programmed to turn both the STB and TV itself on/off simultaneously, so an option is there to perhaps configure it so it's only turning the STB on by accident if it occurs.
