No fibre service in Calgary
I have called Telus every year for the past 5 years to see if fibre internet will be installed in my community (Varsity, Calgary.. 10 minutes from downtown). Every year they say NO. Did you know you ...
I too have been fighting with Telus to get FiberOptic service for years. Pure discrimination. I'm forced to use twisted pair copper.
A Telus tech that was just here (left a few minutes ago) said that it's the City of Calgary that refuses to allow Telus to run fiber optic lines on the poles. Which I find hard to believe. However, if anyone has any proof of this, I'll start laying into the people at the City of Calgary instead.
