I was under the impression that Telus had solved the 30 to 40 second delay on sports broadcasting. Hockey games, basketball etc. So disappointed that I keep hearing the score and highlights from frie...

Far more than a year. Either they’re totally incompetent or lying. I switched to Sportsnet+ and the delay is gone. Telus blaming the upstream broadcaster is dishonest.

My old Telus box worked better than this new optical they pushed me into!

Agreed. It is a TELUS issue specifically. I am temporarily running both TELUS and Rogers and I can see the 1 minute delay in live hockey games by switching inputs on my TV.

Shaw did not have this delay. I just switch to telus and it is an Telus issue specifically.

Yes, streaming it. I had Shaw before but can’t recall if I had delays like this. Frustrating when my watch tells me who scored a minute before I see it or if I’m watching with friends. They were always ahead.
