optik tv guide program issues
global edmonton on channel 104 at 6pm to 7 pm now needs 2 recordings settings as the 1 hr program is split in 2 x 30 min sections....why ?????

On what device are you seeing this? I just checked on telustvplus.com, my iOS app and my TELUS TV Digital Box and I see Global News Hour airing for 1h 1m starting at 4:59pm (i'm in Vancouver, so it's time-shifted). The previous hour has Global News at 5 and Global National each for 30 mins, but these are separate shows.
- I'm in edmonton and using optic tv box on regular time....it was always as 1 hour like the noon version but now the 6 to 7 pm is split in 2 x 30 mins

Thanks. Have you tried rebooting the box and are you able to share a picture of your guide? I've got other folks looking into it, but the 2 I've checked with both have the hour-long program showing on their Optik 4K PVR and Wireless Digital Boxes.
As for recording, in the meantime, you can manually adjust the end-time by 30 mins so that it's only one recording instance.
Just for fun try series recording. 🤣
it was as a one hour series why now is it 2 x30 min??
