I’m extremely frustrated with how this has turned out. I received a free Disney+ promotional subscription through Telus. I’m not even sure whether I ever successfully activated or linked it to my Disney+ account. The promotion ended, and I was subsequently charged for the subscription. The issue is that I have been completely unable to cancel it. My Telus Disney+ subscription has been showing “Payment in progress” for an entire month, despite the charge already being posted to my credit card. I have submitted the Telus support form multiple times over the month asking for assistance cancelling the subscription, and received no response whatsoever. There is no other support available, no phone number, no virtual agent that can assist with subscriptions. Now I have been charged for a second month, and the subscription is still showing the same message”Payment in progress”, and both charges have been posted to my credit card. Even worse, there is no option for me to remove my credit card or cancel the subscription myself. So effectively, Telus has created a situation where I cannot cancel the subscription, cannot remove my payment method, and cannot get anyone to respond to my requests for help, while the system continues charging me month after month. It is a total scam for a customer to be unable to cancel a subscription while Telus continues billing their credit card indefinitely. I need this resolved, not another support request form directing me back to a system that clearly isn’t working!19Views0likes1Commentcan't activate disney plus subscription
I've been having this issue for several weeks, when I try to go to the subscription page to manage my subscription I get the error 'Sorry, your subscriptions list is not available at this time. Please try again or check back later' but I have been receiving emails to activate the subscription and I see it on my overview page. I've tried with multiple devices and on both wifi and data and get the same error. I've called into customer service but they were not able to resolve the issue and recommended I fill out the support form (which I have done multiple times and have never gotten a response to...). Very frustrated with this14KViews3likes48Comments
