Reposting this a year later, still having the same UX issue on my Apple TV 4k gen3 with the telus streaming app. I recall someone saying it was fixed, perhaps it was in a build but since has been removed? Here's what I'm having a problem with: In "Guide" my time hops around (left and rigth) when scrolling down. For example... I open "Guide", I want to scroll down to see what's on at 4pm, in about 3-4 rows, I'm already at 8am now. I think these blocks should not cause me to jump backwards and forwards. It's a frustrating experience and I so badly wish it could just work the way it should work. I only want to know what I can tune into or watch at 4pm without getting48Views0likes0CommentsTelus TV+ App on Apple TV - UX design problems
Been using Telus TV+ on my Apple TV for about 7 months now and I have been struggling with some simple things that I really hope will be addressed. The first issue I have is using the live guide, if I scroll down a certain time like 9:30PM my timeline will jump back a day or hours if the block of content I scroll past started at a different time. This is pretty bad user experience design, I should be able to simply go down the guide at the desired time slot and select a program without jolting backwards in time, and then I have to scroll forward on another channel to get back to the correct time. The second issue I have been having that is related to user experience design is the lack of a "jump to live" button on my timeline once in a live program. This is a standard button I've seen on countless other streaming services that offer live streaming as a way for users to make sure they are synced to the live feed. A couple of times I have come home from work to turn on a game and after 10 advertisements I realize I'm not even watching the live feed and I've missed exactly what I thought I was paying for đ2.7KViews0likes5CommentsTelus+ on Apple TV bugs
Two bugs I've noticed: 1. If I am watching live tv on the app running on the Apple TV and I switch to a different streaming app, the Telus audio keeps playing on top of everything else. I have to force quit the app to stop audio from playing. 2. If I don't force quit the app and power off the Apple TV, the Telus app will wake the tv up and keep playing.1.2KViews0likes1Comment
