This seems to have solved my problem: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07BFL8TM8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title After a lot of searching, I found something that said it has to do with some kind of copyright protection that comes from the Telus box. This attachment keeps that signal from coming through (technically it removes pin 13 from the HDMI connection). I'm having the same issue on 2 different TVs. I have a Samsung UN49KS8000F. Input from Telus Optik box by HDMI and Sonos Beam connected by HDMI ARC. If I unplug the Telus HDMI, the soundbar works fine, but if I try to switch to the soundbar with the Telus box HDMI plugged in, there is no sound from the soundbar and the TV shows "connecting." Do I need a new box or is there a setting on the box I can change?3.3KViews0likes2Comments
