As I mentioned in my post, I spent over an hour with support on Saturday. They could NOT find a solution as no one would answer the call for help on my Living Companion. Obviously, both I and support knew about the link you provided. When I tried to do a test call on Monday, it worked! So, it appears to me that Telus does NOT have operators responding to emergency calls on the weekend for the Living Companion. I was not told this when I ordered. Guess we shouldn't need help on Saturday or Sunday. Could someone investigate and tell me what the problem was or if the lack of personnel on weekends is true? Want to put Money on my Telus Prepaid account. Went to store and was told they were short staffed so would have to wait at least 1.5 hours, if not more! Tried online (as I used to do), and says services are not working. This has been the case for at least a week. Called the 1-861 number and was on hold or being transferred for the last 1.5 hours. Cannot understand representatives as so much noise in background and language. Was transferred a few times - I assume they just want to get rid of me??? Now am being told I must wait 72 hours for someone to call me back. Just want to know if this is a scam or legitimate. I will call my credit card company.
