Hello, Yes after two calls my charges are still on my account plus interest now. They said last time that it would be removed 'later that day' and this was close to a week ago I think. It's an extra $178.24 plus taxes it appears. My TV still doesn't work properly after all this, it takes at least 5 minutes to turn on and connect, plus it will start the process again whenever I try to watch something recorded or on demand.844Views0likes0CommentsOvercharged again
I was overcharged again!!!! This is after I was overcharged $500+ a few months ago, now its $175. They keep saying I have equipment to return which I don't and they booked a home service installation for a place in Cranbrook randomly where I don't live. I want out of my contract, this has caused me so much stress I can't take it anymore and yet I'll have to pay an extra $250+ to get out of my contract early when my TV has never connected properly and I am constantly getting overcharged.955Views0likes3CommentsRe: Help with my account, constant errors.
They said this service appointment is cancelled for some random address in Cranbrook, I just hope it actually is and I wont be charged for some whole new package of tv/internet. I don't know what to do anymore. This started when I signed up for TV and internet last April when they signed me up for many more channels plus a home security service I never registered for and charged me an additional $500+. I spent two Saturdays on the phone fixing this, after the first 4+ hours when they said it would be fixed and the amount was still taken from my chequing account. Finally fixed after several more hours on a second Saturday. Now, my TV takes about 5 minutes to connect and turn on each time. After all the diagnostics it wasn't fixed so I had to sign up for a telus wifi + account just to get someone to come over and look at everything. The guy said he didn't know the problem and told me to get a direct cable line. Fine, I will do that. Then I received an email asking them to return equipment I was never provided. I called them up and explained this, they said there would be a note on my account so I wouldn't get an email about it again. I got another email today, called again and they said the cancelled that so I'll be good. Got a phone call back saying I will still get an email asking me to return this non-existent equipment but ignore it. It's now two hours later and I received an email saying they are coming to my new house in Cranbrook to set up my services...I live in Burnaby and have no plan to move. I am concerned I'll somehow be charged for missing a random appointment and new services I never requested. I had to wait on hold for hours to talk to someone, spent literally over an hour on the phone with him where he swore it would be fixed, he said don't worry about the $707, and transferred me to Telus home security to get that cancelled and refunded. I spent over an hour on hold there, another 30 mins with this person who also promised I would be refunded and cancelled. Only to get the full $707 taken from my bank account and charged $600 for the following month with all the same services. I just switched to Telus after moving into a multi unit building where I was told my building gets a special rate. All I wanted was internet and some TV channels. When setting it up I spoke to someone and got to choose 4 tv channel packages. I noticed many more channels than I signed up for so I called and that person said that it's a better deal and I am not charged more for these theme packages. My total bill was supposed to be about $150/month. My first bill was $707!! I spend all day on a Saturday two weeks ago on hold then talking to some who said I had been signed up for Telus home security, a Telus home phone, a very expensive internet package, plus lots of theme packs. They said they would fix it all and not to worry about the bill. Then I was transferred to Telus home security to also fix that and not be charged, because I don't have that service. I just checked my bank and they took out the whole $707! And I see that I am still signed up for everything and set to be billed June 1 2024 for $600! I am a single person and just wanted internet and a little TV. I spend hours on the phone two weeks ago trying to fix this, and now I still have a huge bill plus the other original bill was actually paid already. Please help me, I don't know what to do anymore.
