Thanks Kate, yes I think theoretically that’s what should be happening but even when we press back it stays on the home page. The page that opens by default is shows show/movie recommendations and apps. I think back doesn’t work because the tv doesn’t recall what the last app was. So it starts back at the home page. I signed my grandparents up for the internet for good wifi. It’s supposed to be 300gb a month. We just had the installation one week ago but for some reason my app is showing that I’ve exceed my monthly data limit. It shows 1.25 gb/ -1gb. I recently switched my grandparents over from ShawTV. Previously, we would open the tv and it would resume the same channel from when we closed it. Now with Telus we’re getting a lot of pop ups saying to login to google and it’s showing a home page with all the apps. My grandparents are in their 90s and are not good with technology.
