SIM card not fitting into tray

Good afternoon I just received a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite and am trying to put the sim card into the tray. It seems like the card is too wide for the tray. Any other users have that same problem?Thanks

Other than trying to force the card into the tray, is there any way ofgetting it to fit?

It's a new sim card that came with the tablet.
