Re: Home Phone some callers are getting out of service message
I didn't but I spent an hour on the phone with a technician and his backroom contacts. The tech could not call my home phone - out of service message. Eventually the other guys were able to unblock my phone number. They told me I could use call control again but I don't trust it anymore.2.4KViews0likes0CommentsHome Phone some callers are getting out of service message
I was getting a lot of spam calls so I turned on Call Control using the My Telus App. Callers then told me they could not work their way through the prompts so the system prevented them from reaching me. I looked at blocked calls and added numbers to my Accepted list but you only get 25. I got fed up with Call Control and turned it off but now new callers get a "this number is out of service message" I tried support but the robot's text messages never reached me and the technician must have got the out of service message and did not investigate further or try to contact me.2.4KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Is PureFibre 300/300 really at least 300Mbps
My service was installed 4 years ago. I might still have the tech's card. I just changed to 300/300 from PureFibre 150/150. I used to get consistent download speeds around 180Mbps on the old plan. I thought I should be getting similar results greater than 300 Mbps with the new plan but it is not happening.11KViews0likes1CommentIs PureFibre 300/300 really at least 300Mbps
Last month I upgraded from PureFibre Internet 150/150 to PureFibre Internet 300/300. The Telus My Wi-Fi App speed test with 150/150 consistently showed download speeds of 179-185Mbps and upload speeds 171-185Mbps However my 300/300 plan only gets 262-292Mbps download and 240-268Mbps upload. Is it unrealistic to expect at least 300Mbps?Solved11KViews1like7Comments
