Re: Connecting Ubiquiti Litebeam link to Network Access Hub
What is the network setup for the Litebeam? Maybe go back to the default settings with DHCP enabled etc to make sure that it is getting an IP address from the Network Access hub. You say you can see the IP address but is it one actually handed out by the Network Access hub or a static one assigned to the Litebeam? I don't see what the DMZ would have to do with anything if all you want is external internet (outgoing) from the Litebeam.45Views1like3CommentsRe: Apple TV+ on new Optik boxes
I don't have the new TelusTV-21T box. That was sort of my point that you can't access Apple TV+ or Disney+ if you have the older equipment and it is not obvious from the signup material for the new Stream+ that you need the new box if you want to watch those streams via OptikTV.9.2KViews0likes0CommentsApple TV+ on new Optik boxes
Does Apple TV+ and Disney+ work on the new android OptikTV boxes? I just upgraded my channel packages only to find that neither of these channels (apps) works on my current OptikTV 4K box. Well bleep bleep I added these channels to my lineup precisely so I wouldn't have to use another device to actually watch them. From reading all the posts about the new android boxes I should stay far far away from them for now. So it turns out that all that I managed to accomplish was to pay Telus directly for AppleTV + and Disney+, rather than Apple and Disney. But I can't actually watch them on any Telus equipment? Bizarre.Solved9.4KViews0likes11CommentsRe: Is telus pots over gpon voip or rf over glass or what is it
Ah yes you are right - the phone service is connected to the RJ11 jack on the ONT - and not the 3200 as I had mistakenly said. In any case I think my question still stands - can I access the Home Phone service over the ethernet feed from the ONT rather than via the ATA and RJ11 jack? I'm suspecting the answer is negative if Telus is reselling RingCentral for VOIP service.8.3KViews0likes2CommentsRe: Is telus pots over gpon voip or rf over glass or what is it
I've been wondering about this for awhile so thanks for the explanation. I have fibre and the Home Phone service with the T3200 box. The phone service is provided via the RJ11 jacks on the T3200 so I assume the T3200 performs the function of an ATA device to convert the digital signal to analogue. I'm wondering if the voice service is "available" over the ethernet RJ45 ports on the T3200 ... i.e. if things could be configured so that the Home Phone service is available as a true VOIP service over ethernet and you could use a VOIP phone.8.3KViews0likes4CommentsRe: Unauthorized Access, Telus Profile Locked
I'm wondering if Telus is actually having problems with their security system. I've been getting these messages for the last few days and today I went to change my password and it turned into a big runaround. After changing my password successfully I thought I should change my email address as well since obviously guessing your telus.net email address isn't that difficult. But try as I might I couldn't change my email address to my other various non-Telus email addresses - kept getting a message from Telus that "something had gone wrong" - like duh! I know that.17KViews0likes0Comments
